NUCLEP administers on its premises an Industrial Learning Course for professional education for new professionals trained to meet the current labour market demands. Due to the inauguration of the Company, in 1980, and because it was, at the time, a pioneer manufacturing technology in the country, its absorption and fixation required qualified personnel at levels and standards that often do not exist in our labor market. Thus, the decision to set up the Technical Training Center to develop and qualify part of its workforce was strategic. Through government regulation, the didactic-pedagogical actions of the course are articulated and integrated between theory and practice that provide professional qualification in the areas of boiler making, technical design, maintenance mechanics, welding and lathes.

In addition to providing the country with a quality technical reserve, the insertion of young professionals in the labor market has been crucial in the social, economic, and ecologically sustainable development of the municipality of Itaguaí and adjacent regions. The Technical Training Center also promotes training courses for NUCLEP employees, valuing the practice of continuous learning, to generate effective results in the provision of services, and stimulates the development, innovation and retention of human capital.

- Technical and Financial Cooperation Agreement with the Brazilian Maintenance Association - ABRAMAN for the Qualification and Certification of Level 1 Maintenance Boilermakers;
- Agreement with the State Secretariat of Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro and the Technical School Support Foundation - FAETEC, which has a mid-level technical course in mechanics at night at the NUCLEP Technical Training Center;
- Technical and Financial Cooperation Agreement with the Brazilian Army's TROMPOWSKY Institute; External recognition of the quality and level of social reach that the Professional Qualification Course given by NUCLEP provided to the company:
- Receiving in 1996 the “Education for the Quality of Work Award”, instituted by MEC, UNICEF, Odebrecht Foundation and the Brazilian Institute of Studies and Community Support;
- To join the Education Committee of the Public Ethics Commission from 2002 to 2003;
- To join the National Forum of State-owned Enterprises for Education from 2003 to 2004;
- Received in 2005 the “CREA-RJ Seal of Social Responsibility”, promoted by the Regional Council of Engineering Architecture and Agronomy of the State of Rio de Janeiro;
- To be a role model for the creation of the Federal Program “Escola de Fábrica”;
- Integrate from 2005 to 2008 the Federal Program "School of Factory";
- To be the motivator of the Citizen Company Seal, promoted by the Regional Accounting Council, which NUCLEP received in the years 2012 and 2013.
