NUCLEP and the Secretary of Education of Rio de Janeiro State (SEE) signed an agreement to deploy a center for advanced suppletive studies (NACES), at the Technical Training Center (CTT) from 25th May 2009 on.
The objective of NACES is to help the NUCLEP employees who did not complete the basic education or the high school, and have interest or a necessity to obtain the school certification.
The Teaching methodology is flexible and does not oblige a classroom presence. From Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 16:00, teachers of the Secretary of Education will be available at the Technical Training Center to solve questions and to evaluate the participants. All teaching materials will be provided by the Secretary of Education. The course duration period is not determinated. The student himself defines and establishes when and which subjects he wants to study on each period. It is a modular course. The student studies by himself and, whenever necessary, clarify his doubts with the teacher that will be available at specific days and periods.
